Had an awesome time with friends! We explored stunning local hikes and enjoyed cozy evenings with great food. The staff were super friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Just a heads up, more hooks for coats and bathroom shelves would be handy.
One downside was the noisy environment at night, which made it hard to sleep at times.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The cozy atmosphere and lively bar made for a fun evening, and I loved the hot tea waiting in my room after a long day. Just a heads up, the breakfast service could be a bit quicker, but that didn't dampen my experience at all! 😊

Perfect getaway for solo adventurers
The pub was cosy, felt like a real slice of old England with its charming decor. I remember sitting by the window, enjoying a quality pint and the warm atmosphere, just what I needed after a long day on the hills.
Not the cheapest I’ve seen but still fair enough for what you get.

we had such a great time at the unicorn! the staff was super friendly, especially with my son, who loved chatting with them about the pub. the room was both warm and comfortable, and the location was really close to the town centre yet on a quiet street. i would say the best part was the excellent banter we had with the staff.

Excellent breakfast and vibrant atmosphere
I recently enjoyed a one-night stay in a Double Room with Private External Bathroom. The breakfast was outstanding with options like a hearty full English, and the staff were incredibly friendly, even accommodating special requests for coffee. The lively bar downstairs added to the experience, providing great live music that created a fun atmosphere, though it was a bit noisy at times. a fantastic place for a cozy stay, but if you prefer complete silence at night, it might be a consideration.
